(Like, that time I built a business that DIDN’T fully align with MY sweet spot, instead blindly follow a coach and methodology with a different ethos to me – only to burn out, wig out and spend long evenings crying along to the symphony of cha-chings coming from the sales of my million dollar program. When I shut down my multi-million dollar group coaching program, it was because in my pursuit (and achievement) of an arbitrary definition of success – I’d swung the pendulum TOO far in a direction I didn’t even want to go in, and woke up one day with a business that didn’t feel good and a calendar full of things I didn’t actually want to do.
I know, because it happened to me, and — in private DM’s and whispered conversations behind the scenes with on the surface “wildly successful” online owners – I have seen it play out for many of those around me too.
